NCCER CORE (The National Center for Construction Education and Research) - The NCCER Core Curriculum is a prerequisite to all other Level 1 craft curriculum. Its modules cover topics such as Basic Safety, Communication Skills and Introduction to Construction Drawings. Completing this curriculum gives the trainee the basic skills needed to continue education in any craft area he or she chooses.
Health and Physical Education: This course is designed to give students the opportunity to learn weight training concepts and techniques used for obtaining optimal physical fitness. Students will learn the basic fundamentals of weight training, strength training, aerobic training, and overall fitness training and conditioning. Students will practice and develop skills in activities that help students maintain fitness throughout their life. Students will understand the benefits that regular exercise can provide for a person's mental, physical, and social health.
IBCA (Business Computer Applications) - In this course, high school students can acquire skills required to create, edit, and publish industry appropriate documents. Areas of study will also include oral and written communications and information research for reporting purposes. Create, format, and edit error-free documents using word processing software
